The Master Class with Richard McKinley lauded by participants
Richard McKinley completed two back-to-back weeks of Master Class instruction to rave reviews.
Attendees came from as far away as France to participate. We'll have photos and reviews on the website soon.
Can you help?
There are many opportunities to become more involved with PPSCC. The most direct way is to become a member of our board of directors.
There are a few key openings now as some people are stepping down, and there will be more soon.
We hope that some of you, our members, will step forward to assume the positions we need filled to keep us going.
Remember, this is a volunteer run organization and we can't operate successfully without your help!
Right now, we are looking for the following:
Treasurer, President and Historian.
You can read more about these positions on our Volunteer page
Get Ready to Paint Out!
With warmer weather approaching, we are busy planning the Paint Outs for the coming season. Most will take place in the morning, 8:30-11:00 am, with the exception of August. The sessions are non-instructional opportunities for members to paint on location together. At the end of the season, we will have a web show for members who have participated. All dates are tentatively scheduled.

PPSCC Awards First Scholarship
The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod set aside monies to fund our first scholarship this year. The award was to have been offered to a current high school senior from the School-to-Careers Art Internship Program through the Cape Cod Museum of Art, but the jury was so impressed with the caliber of work that two more scholarships were awarded!
