Mona Dumoulin Cross
Mona Dumoulin Cross is known for her vibrant oil paintings and for her expressive pastel animal portraits. Detailed and engaging, her portraits aim to capture not only the animal’s likeness, but something deeper and more personal. Ms. Cross’ work has been shown in numerous national and open juried exhibitions throughout New England, including the Blanche Ames National Juried Exhibition in Easton, MA, “It’s Pastel” at the Pastel Society of NH in Portsmouth, and “For Pastel’s Only” at the PPSCC in South Yarmouth. Her award winning work is held in private collections in Australia and throughout the United States. In addition, Ms. Cross teaches pastel and oil painting classes in Taunton and Middleboro.
She is a member of the Pastel Society of America, a Signature Member of the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod, and an exhibiting Russell Gallery artist at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. Ms. Cross lives in Taunton, Massachusetts, with her husband Rick and their two, much-loved shelties.
